Leading up to Election Day, both in the primaries and the general, our main campaign goal turned toward get out the vote (GOTV) efforts. Our goal was to make sure voters were informed and energized by engaging them both online and locally, and in doing so to increase their turnout at the polls.
Securing votes during the primary election was integral to building early momentum that would help carry us into the general election. We worked closely with organizers in the states to help them be as prepared as possible when talking to voters.
Once we moved into the general election, we worked with all 50 states. It was imperative that voters know dates and deadlines and have information about things like how to register to vote, how to vote early if it was available in their state, and how and where to vote on Election Day. As that day drew closer, we continued to push messages of urgency and responsibility through arrow accumulation animations.
We gave our supporters tools such as placards, signage, and apparel to help them show their support for Hillary at campaign rallies.
